Falkner has a story worth telling. I am glad to help preserve some of it digitally.
This website is new. It gathers in one place what the Falkner Heritage Museum Project has been doing since 2016: the museum and the park, the Cooper Hill School House, the history of the town itself, and the Community Center now rising on its foundation in Old Town.
My part in it was the building: the pages, the photographs, the words arranged so they can be found. The history belongs to the people who lived it, and to the volunteers who have spent years keeping it. I only gave it an address.
This page is where the news goes from now on. Event announcements, progress on the Community Center, photographs from workdays at the park, and whatever else is worth writing down.
Falkner kept its story when it lost its buildings. This is one more place to keep it.
